A factory steel mounting roof curb sits atop the roof assembly over rigid insulation and a 2-inch by 4-inch wood nailer strip furnished with the curb. A neoprene seal provides a weather-tight joint between the equipment base and the curb structure. Twenty-six gauge counter flashing extends down over the exterior, anchored to the curb unit with number 10 by 1-inch fasteners spaced at 24 inches on center.
