Condensate drain piping from the air handling unit incorporates a trapped seal with minimum four-inch vertical clearances. A vertical vent extends upward before the run continues to the drain at a minimum slope of one-eighth inch per foot. A removable plug is installed at the base of the trap for cleanout access.
