An insulated plenum connects to a square ceiling diffuser neck using screws and sits above the ceiling plane. A flex duct ties into a spin-in fitting with a volume damper on the supply duct, secured with typical clamps. A 1-inch wide strap hanger bolts around the duct and extends up to the building structure to relieve strain from the diffusers. A 40 percent free area perforated plate spans across the plenum with the top of the plate at the centerline of the inlet.
