An acoustical duct liner is adhered to the interior of the sheet metal ductwork with one hundred percent coverage of adhesive. The duct longitudinal joint liner is lapped and compressed at the corner break. Mechanical fasteners with self-locking washers are installed to secure the liner to the ductwork. These mechanical fasteners are spot-welded to the ductwork at specified spacings of three inches, six inches, twelve inches, and sixteen inches. Sheet metal nosing is provided as described in the project specifications.
