A packaged air conditioning unit is set on a manufacturer-supplied roof curb leveled by the general contractor and positioned at least eight inches above the finished roof. Counter flashing is installed as required, and roofing is applied by the general contractor. Unit attachment to the factory curb follows the structural submittal, and anchorage to the concrete roof follows the seismic submittal.
