A non-freeze wall hydrant with an integrated vacuum breaker mounts through the exterior wall assembly, positioned eighteen inches above grade or as noted on the plan. The unit features a hinged door with a lock and requires an extension depth matching the wall thickness, with a typical nine-inch minimum. Supply piping consists of three-quarter-inch cold water or three-quarter-inch hot water for HB-4, routed on the inside face of the building insulation. Insulation is compressed where required, while maintaining full insulation thickness wherever possible. An isolation valve is installed on the supply line above the ceiling level, adjacent to typical building insulation.
