The garage transfer fan is suspended from the structure above using four typical allthread hangers attached to manufacturer-provided mounting tabs typically numbering four. Neoprene pads specified in the vibration isolation submittal sit beneath the unit. Four typical sway braces are installed at a forty-five degree angle, complemented by optional seismic cabling inboard of the unit. The bottom of the fan is positioned at eight feet six inches above the finished floor.
