A stainless steel panel type steam dispersion humidifier is installed inline within a duct system using typical bolted and gasketed flanged connections. The unit requires a minimum two inch clearance and an upstream eighteen inch minimum straight run. Two high limit humidistats and an airflow switch are positioned downstream, with components furnished by TCC. A three-quarter inch ball valve with a threaded hose connection is installed at the bottom of the humidifier. The installation maintains the manufacturer's recommended steam absorption distance plus two feet.
