Manual and automatic air vent assemblies connect to piping mains of varying sizes using screwed or welded branch connections. Screwed pipe assemblies for two-and-a-half-inch pipe or larger utilize a one-inch sweep-o-let or a bushing connected to a manual air valve, with optional automatic air vents where indicated and quarter-inch copper tubing for manual drains. Welded pipe configurations incorporate similar valving and venting components tied directly into elbows and tees with reducers and full-size pipe adapters.
