The fan coil unit is suspended from the structure above using all-thread hangers tied into support framing. Rubber isolators are positioned at the mounting flanges at the top of the fan coil to reduce vibration transmission. Threaded connections typically tie the unit into the heat pump system. Refrigerant supply and return lines, labeled as RFS and RFR, connect to the side of the unit. A drain is piped full size with a trap and routed to a floor drain.
