A suspended fan coil unit is supported from an overhead wood deck using threaded hanger rods equipped with vibration isolators. The unit connects to a sheet metal supply air plenum with an internal sound lining via a flexible canvas connection. Refrigerant liquid and suction lines tie into the side of the housing alongside a sheet metal filter sleeve configured for a one-inch filter. Primary and secondary condensate drain connections include traps and route to approved receptors by plumbing contractor. The installation note requires mounting the unit level or tilted slightly toward the drain connection.
