An exhaust fan drip pan is fabricated from twenty-gauge galvanized sheet metal with a size matched to the exhaust fan curb and features welded seams at the corners. The bottom of the pan incorporates a cross break for added structural support. The assembly is secured to the building structure using band iron strap clamps with a minimum length of eighteen inches, typically fastened to the sides of the pan using gasket head sheet metal screws.
