A spin-in or tap-in round collar with an integrated manual balancing damper connects to a low pressure fiberboard or sheet metal main duct. The branch collar routes air toward a diffuser and maintains a specified distance between twelve and eighteen inches from the duct end. The sheet metal or fiberboard duct wall receives the mechanical tap connection.
