A Type I grease exhaust fan mounts atop a concrete roof assembly with vibration isolators, connected to an exhaust system via a flexible connection and aluminum ductwork exposed to weather. The assembly incorporates guy wires for lateral stability and a weatherproof cover over the fan motor. A scroll drain connects at the base of the fan housing. Roof penetration and curb details show sleepers and strips, rigid insulation, roofing, and cap flashing secured to the roof structure by the general contractor.
