An acid-resistant flexible connection with Eisenheiss coating joins the exhaust fan inlet to the duct transition piece. The flexible galvanized assembly is mechanically secured with stainless steel sheet metal screws or blind rivets spaced at a maximum of fifteen inches, requiring a minimum of three fasteners per joint. All joints are sealed with silicone, and an external grounding wire bridges across the flexible connection.
