Option A positions a concrete wedge adjacent to the pipe with a height dimension of one and a half feet relative to the trench excavation. Option B provides a full concrete blocking encasement surrounding the pipe with minimum dimension clearances designated as D minimum for width and depth. Both options define the relationship between the pipe of diameter D and the surrounding concrete blocking within excavated earth trenches.
