An expansion tank rests on a housekeeping pad supported by the floor slab. The tank is secured by an angle ring made of a L3"x3"x1/4"-2" profile, welded to the unit support frame by manufacturer with a 3/16" fillet weld. The angle ring is anchored to the concrete pad using Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchors spaced at one hundred twenty degrees around a bolt circle. A minimum four-inch edge distance is maintained for the anchors.
