Transverse and longitudinal 4-way cable bracing for suspended pipe hangers supported by hanger rods from the building structure. The assembly includes a pipe clevis hanger, a U-bolt with a channel strut on top of the pipe, and taut installed cables positioned at 30 to 90 degree angles. Rod stiffener clips and a 1-5/8 inch by 1-5/8 inch 12 gauge strut are provided for the support rod based on rod diameter length limitations outlined in the accompanying tables. Maximum rod lengths without stiffeners range from 16 inches for 3/8 inch diameter rods up to 55 inches for 1-1/4 inch diameter rods.
