This piping assembly connects mechanical equipment to the distribution system using a series of threaded and fitted components. A union joins the equipment side pipe to facilitate dismantling, followed by a meter connection and a circuit balance valve. Reducers are installed on both the equipment side and system side to transition pipe diameters.
