Suspended mechanical support assembly utilizing a spreader channel connected to overhead steel beams with Elcen-type beam clamps restricted to vertical angle use only. A four-inch by three-and-a-half-inch by five-sixteenths-inch angle measuring five and a half inches long is secured at each end using two five-eighths-inch machine bolts per leg or an equivalent welded connection. Vertical and diagonal angles are sized per the applicable schedule with a twelve-foot maximum spacing. Longitudinal angles are also provided as required per the schedule.
