An automatic air vent is mounted to a twenty millimeter by one hundred millimeter high nipple connected to the top of water piping. A twenty millimeter gate valve is installed below the air vent for isolation. A ten millimeter copper tubing drain extends from the top of the air vent. Automatic air vents are installed at high points of the piping system and at changes in direction where venting of air is required. The automatic air vent drain is piped to the nearest floor drain or other indicated location.
