An insulated sheet metal elbow with a round neck connects to the ceiling diffuser using sheet metal screws, with mastic applied between the elbow and the flexible duct. The flexible duct is secured using a Panduit fastener and supported by a duct strap, maintaining a maximum length of five feet. Eighteen-gauge wire seismic restraints are anchored at opposite corners and secured to the ceiling support structure. Sectorizing baffles are provided within the assembly for proper air throws as required.
