An acoustically lined sheet metal transfer duct penetrates through a wall with offset directional elbows on each side to provide sound attenuation. The duct requires a minimum two-foot offset dimension on one side and a minimum one-foot offset on the opposing side, with duct sizing determined per plan. Elbows may be installed either vertically or horizontally depending on field coordination. The assembly facilitates air transfer between adjacent spaces while maintaining acoustic separation through the wall penetration.
