A flexible duct routes through a wall opening fitted with a hard duct collar, terminating with an open-ended duct on one side and a transfer grille at an accessible ceiling on the other. Support is provided at the duct elbow and every five feet for horizontal runs. A one-inch lined rectangular duct matching the neck size is used for transfer grilles having square inlet connections.
