An electronic trap primer is housed within a metal cabinet that recesses into framed walls or surface mounts on concrete and block walls. A cold water supply taps from the top of the supply line and routes through a union, a half-inch ball valve, and a PPP MP-500 electronic trap primer connected to a 115-volt controller. The primer discharges through a one-inch air gap funnel and a half-inch tube-to-NPT fitting, transitioning to half-inch type L soft copper tubing that slopes horizontally to a P-trap with a primer connection. A condensate drain ties into the waste and vent stack through an air gap fitting.
