An outdoor duct with a two-inch liner connects to a pitched twenty-four-inch-high roof curb using number ten by two-and-one-half-inch self-drilling screws into the curb nailer with a minimum quantity of two per side spaced at twelve inches on center. A one-quarter-inch bead of polyurethane sealant is applied around the full perimeter at the joint. The assembly features an eight-inch minimum clearance above the roofing and self-adhered membrane. Simpson Strong-Tie SDS25500 fasteners spaced at twenty-four inches on center secure through the concrete pad into the roof cross-laminated timber panels with a three-inch embedment. An indoor duct with a one-inch liner or duct wrap continues below the roof assembly.
