An exhaust fan assembly is mounted behind an exterior wall louver, secured with 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 x 1/4 inch steel angles framing the wall opening and the connecting ductwork. The assembly includes a control damper or backdraft damper, an access panel, a protective screen, and a bird or insect screen positioned directly behind the louver. Two-inch thick insulated double-wall sheet metal blank-off panels fill the unused portions of the louver opening as indicated.
