An open exhaust hood sits atop a welding table and connects to an overhead exhaust duct via a flexible polyester hose encapsulated in thermoplastic rubber. A blast gate is installed along the flexible run for airflow control, and the hood is clamped directly to the table. The hood features a 3-inch flange and a 16-inch by 8-inch opening, with duct sizes and locations determined per plans.
