Sheet metal ductwork connects to a duct attenuator with a sheet metal transition constructed as necessary and per SMACNA standards. The interior features duct lining paired with a 1-inch thick foil-faced semi-rigid duct insulation board applied exclusively to the duct attenuator. The junction is constructed with internal dimensions of the lining and attenuator being equal to create a smooth airflow surface with no obstructions and no exposed edges of lining.
