A ceiling transfer grille connects to a flexible duct with a maximum length of five feet, suspended from the structure above by a hanger installed per Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association standards. The neck size of the assembly varies based on structural requirements and connects to a round neck ceiling grille. For T-bar ceiling applications, the diffusers are positively attached using either lay-in support clips or mechanical fasteners secured to the T-bar runner. The transfer outlet is positioned away from noise sources and other transfer air openings.
