A galvanized duct penetrates an insulated partition wall with a Z-shaped offset to provide acoustic transfer. The duct features ninety-degree elbows with no turning vanes and an interior duct liner extending a minimum distance of two and a half times the duct dimension. Caulk and sealant are applied on all four sides where the duct assembly meets the partition framing. Duct dimensions and sizing are determined per floor plans.
