An exhaust fan or VAV terminal unit is suspended from the roof or structure above using spring isolators or hangers. Flexible connections link the unit to both the positive and negative pressure ducts sized per plan. Diagonal seismic sway braces are installed at a forty-five degree angle with structural attachments. Upper attachments are coordinated with structural details, and seismic bracing is provided as required by OPM standards.
