A volume damper controls airflow into a stainless steel flexible duct restricted to a maximum length of 5'-0". The flexible duct is secured with clamps over its jacket and insulation onto a bead on the duct collar. The opposite end connects to an acoustically lined plenum suspended by duct hangers. A linear diffuser is integrated into the bottom of the plenum, supported by seismic straps per structural requirements.
