This assembly consists of a louver unit mounted within an outside wall opening, secured by a channel frame. An insect screen is positioned behind the louver blades. An adjustable backdraft or motorized damper is installed on the interior side, set to relieve at 0.03 inches water column. The damper must be sized to fill the opening completely as indicated in the project specifications. A galvanized iron boot is provided for the duct connection at the wall line and must be securely fastened to the wall structure.
