Roof-mounted equipment is supported on three treated 2x10 wood members set over a treated wood base plate, bearing on an existing metal deck with existing insulation and roof membrane removed as required. A neoprene pad sits beneath the equipment base, with anchor bolts set in sealant. A 4-inch cant strip is wrapped with two layers of modified bitumen flashing strip. A 24-gauge galvanized metal cap flashing covers the wood blocking, secured by fasteners spaced approximately 24 inches on center. A removable 24-gauge galvanized metal counterflashing extends down over the base flashing, secured by fasteners spaced approximately 8 inches on center.
