A variable air volume box hangs from the structure above using hangers installed per SMACNA standards. Inlet ductwork connects to the terminal unit as indicated on the plans. A plenum or discharge ductwork section connects to the opposite end, incorporating a VAV box actuator and an optional reheat coil.
