Flexible duct connections require a maximum one-radius bend with support straps placed within twelve inches of the bend. The duct diameter is designated by variable D, and support straps must be installed at maximum twelve-inch spacing from the transition. Maintain the specified bend radius to prevent kinks and restrict airflow reduction in mechanical distribution runs.
