An internally lined sheet metal sound boot penetrates a partition wall above a ceiling and is suspended by ceiling hanger straps secured to the structure above. The transfer boot maintains a minimum five-foot length requirement across the partition. Wired mesh screens are installed at the duct termination points. A sizing schedule designates small, medium, and large mark sizes with corresponding dimensions.
