An exhaust air duct extends from a ceiling fan up through the roof construction, terminating in a roof cap with an integrated birdscreen. The roof penetration is sealed and protected by roof flashing with sealant applied at the joint. Roofing materials are provided by others, and duct sizing is per mechanical drawings.
