The exhaust duct connects directly to the top of the fume hood and matches the venturi valve neck size unless noted otherwise on the plan. A debris screen is installed at the duct connection to the fume hood. A sound attenuator is positioned upstream of each venturi exhaust valve.

PROVIDE DEBRIS SCREEN AT DUCT CONNECTION TO FUME HOOD. SOUND ATTENUATOR UPSTREAM OF EACH VENTURI EXHAUST VALVE.
