A multi-tiered vertical pipe rack is suspended from roof joists using auxiliary steel hangers provided by the mechanical contractor. The stacked trapeze-style hanger supports three insulated pipes or conduits vertically. Auxiliary steel, seismic hangers, and bracing are designated to be sized by the mechanical contractor. A sway brace connects the rack assembly to the adjacent exterior wall or structure as required. The exterior wall requires blocking provided by the general contractor.
