Branch ductwork connects to the main supply and return ducts at a forty-five-degree angle with a cinch collar lock on the upstream side. Main duct take-offs include a volume damper when there are no future branch take-offs. Branch dimensions follow the formula length equals width divided by four, with a four-inch minimum. Additional volume dampers are provided in the branch ductwork per volume damper details and duct sizes are sized per plans.
