A constant air volume control unit is inserted into a low pressure branch duct connecting to an exhaust main duct. Straight duct clearances of three times the diameter minimum are required at both the inlet and outlet of the control device. A sheet metal branch duct then extends from the control run through a flexible duct connection to terminate at an exhaust grille.
