The air diffuser assembly is integrated into the ceiling grid and ceiling material, with the diffuser core secured to the duct collar using number eight sheet metal screws. A flexible duct connects to the diffuser collar and is fastened with a tightening band. The entire assembly is supported by a hanger strap, which is suspended by twelve gauge steel wire and sixteen gauge steel wire. The assembly maintains a maximum clearance of four and one-quarter inches from the ceiling grid plane, with a one-inch offset indicated.
