The piping bypass connects the supply and return lines with an arrangement of isolation valves, a modulating temperature control valve, and a flow-limiting valve sized per the plans for gallons per minute. The isolation valves are specified based on pipe size typically. The modulating temperature control valve regulates flow between the supply and return mains. The flow-limiting valve controls the maximum rate of fluid delivery through the bypass circuit.
