A computer room air conditioner unit connects to a 460-volt, three-phase, 60-hertz electrical supply through a circuit breaker and disconnect switch. Twenty-four-volt control wiring runs between the unit and a wall-mounted microprocessor control panel, which acts as a programmable thermostat capable of connecting with a future BACnet energy management system. Smoke detector interlocks provide automatic unit shutdown. Additional wiring routes signals to a site scan control panel per the riser diagram.
