A packaged air conditioning unit rests on a manufacturer-supplied roof curb that is leveled by the general contractor. Roofing work is installed by the general contractor around the curb base. A roof opening is provided for ductwork and sized per the architectural plans. Anchorage of the curb to the concrete roof follows the requirements of the seismic submittal.
