Refrigerant piping is secured to structural supports using a one-and-five-eighths-inch P-1001 Unistrut channel or equal anchored with three-eighths-by-three-inch screws, washers, and inserts or expansion bolts. Piping is held with a Unistrut pipe clamp or equal, tightened snugly without crushing the insulation. Uninsulated copper pipe is wrapped with two layers of Scotch number thirty-three tape extending three inches on either side of the clamp. Insulation runs continuous through the clamp.
SECURE PIPING TO SUPPORTS WITH "UNISTRUT" PIPE CLAMP OR EQUAL. 3/8"x3" SCREW, WASHER AND INSERT OR EXPANSION BOLT. WRAP UNINSULATED COPPER PIPE WITH 2 LAYERS OF SCOTCH #33 TAPE RUN 3" EITHER SIDE OF CLAMP CONTINUOUS THROUGH CLAMP. RUN INSULATION CONTINUOUS THROUGH CLAMP.
