A flexible duct connects directly to a multi-core diffuser without a boot, maintaining a minimum duct radius of one diameter at the throat. The duct is suspended overhead by a minimum one-inch wide hanger band clamp and secured at the diffuser connection with a clamp. The diffuser is supported by a T-bar and acoustical ceiling tile system installed by the general contractor using Caddy clips or screws. Sizing and cubic feet per minute range are determined per the mechanical plans.
