A safety relief valve connects to a horizontally oriented short nipple of Schedule 80 pipe, with flanged or screwed type connections. An independently supported vertical riser pipe extends upward through a safety valve drip pan elbow. Condensate and discharge from both the valve and drip pan route via short nipples and elbows to the sanitary drain.
